• American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
  The AICPA is the national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public, as well as employers and clients.

• AICPA Audit Quality Centers
  In addition to our membership in the AICPA, Witt Mares is a member of the AICPA's Center for Audit Quality, Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and Governmental Audit Quality Center. Audit Quality Centers are firm-based voluntary membership organization designed to help CPAs meet the challenges of performing quality audits. Joining the Centers provides us additional resources for research, as well as opportunities to network and exchange information with other member firms.
• Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)
  As stated on their website, "The PCAOB is a private-sector non-profit created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, to oversee the auditors of public companies in order to protect the interests of investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, fair, and independent audit reports."
